As the season is changing, we can't help but notice as the gardens around us start to bloom. Once brown and grey trees and bushes are coming alive with color, sometimes making it okay that we're sweating at 10 in the morning. With the heat and the rains comes the most beautiful time of year for a southern town like ours.
We couldn't help but mention some of our favorite flowers for the summertime. If you haven't decided on a bouquet, we hope this can ease the decision-making. After all, there are thousands of flowers!
Bouquet with both Purple Alstroemeria and Calla Lily
One wonderful thing about summer flowers is that even the same flower can come in every color imaginable. Calla Lilies for instance, can range from bright white to deep oranges and reds. And even if neutral tones are more your style, waxflowers, craspedia, and astillbe make beautiful and small pops of color. Not to mention, they are a great alternative to more common filler flowers.
